Real beat detection

The buddy listens to whatever your computer is playing: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube in any browser, a game. It finds the beat and the tempo, then picks from eight moves to match the track's energy: sway, bob, shimmy, side-steps, moonwalk, jumps, headbang and spins.

There's a disco glow, a little equalizer, and a burst when the drop hits. The buddy also shows the song title it finds in your player or browser tab.

Nothing is recorded

To dance, the buddy measures only the loudness and the beat of the sound, live, in memory. The audio is thrown away as it's measured. It is never recorded, saved or uploaded. It doesn't use your microphone, and it never looks at your screen.
